Threads is a separate service from Instagram on GlowSMS. The code is typed back into Threads, not into a different Meta app.
Threads decides whether a number is accepted. This order does not keep receiving texts after it ends.

The app permits the selected number and you only need SMS access during this order.

Which country should I choose for a Threads number?
Look at the countries your Threads screen allows, then compare stock and price here. The cheapest one is not always the one that works.
Do I need a SIM card, and can I receive calls?
You do not need to install an extra SIM. View the number and incoming SMS in your GlowSMS web order. This product receives text messages; it does not provide calls, mobile data or voice verification codes.
How long can I use the temporary number?
The countdown on the order is how long the number stays open. Some last longer than others. After it ends, new login texts will not come to that number.
Can I get a refund if no verification code arrives?
If no code has shown up, cancel after 2 minutes and the money goes back to your balance. If the code already arrived, that order stays. The order status tells you which it is.
What if an SMS arrives but the app does not accept it?
If the code already arrived, that order is finished, so it is not a “no code” refund. Whether the app takes the number is up to the app.
Can I use the same number for a later login?
Usually not. After the order ends, the number stops receiving new texts. For an account you want to keep, switch to a phone you still have.
How does this differ from a free SMS number?
A free public SMS page typically lets any visitor read its messages. Here, you pay for an order and read its messages after signing in to your GlowSMS account. You are paying for SMS access to the selected service during the order window, not permanent number ownership.
