WhatsApp verification requirements
Check that your current step needs SMS, then choose a suitable number.
WhatsApp says you must register a number you own and be able to receive SMS and calls. It lists VoIP and several other number types as unsupported. GlowSMS provides temporary SMS access, not ownership of a mobile line or voice calls; availability here is not proof of WhatsApp eligibility.
Use a number you control long term for your main account or WhatsApp Business. A future registration request may need the original number again, after your GlowSMS order has ended.
A fit: a current SMS step
The app permits the selected number and you only need SMS access during this order.
Not a fit: lasting account recovery
Use a number you control for banking, business and primary social accounts. One delivered code does not provide future access.
Not a fit: calls or other checks
This order cannot answer calls, receive email, complete identity checks or remove app restrictions.

Does WhatsApp accept every virtual number?
No. WhatsApp’s own help says VoIP and some other number types are not supported.
Is a temporary number suitable for WhatsApp Business?
A business account needs a number you can keep controlling. A short SMS order does not provide that, even if an initial SMS is delivered.
How much does a WhatsApp number cost, and which countries are available?
Sign in to compare current stock and prices, and confirm the amount shown before purchasing.
Which country should I choose for a WhatsApp number?
Look at the countries your WhatsApp screen allows, then compare stock and price here. The cheapest one is not always the one that works.
Do I need a SIM card, and can I receive calls?
You do not need to install an extra SIM. View the number and incoming SMS in your GlowSMS web order. This product receives text messages; it does not provide calls, mobile data or voice verification codes.
How long can I use the temporary number?
The countdown on the order is how long the number stays open. Some last longer than others. After it ends, new login texts will not come to that number.
Can I get a refund if no verification code arrives?
If no code has shown up, cancel after 2 minutes and the money goes back to your balance. If the code already arrived, that order stays. The order status tells you which it is.
What if an SMS arrives but the app does not accept it?
If the code already arrived, that order is finished, so it is not a “no code” refund. Whether the app takes the number is up to the app.
Can I use the same number for a later login?
Usually not. After the order ends, the number stops receiving new texts. For an account you want to keep, switch to a phone you still have.
How does this differ from a free SMS number?
A free public SMS page typically lets any visitor read its messages. Here, you pay for an order and read its messages after signing in to your GlowSMS account. You are paying for SMS access to the selected service during the order window, not permanent number ownership.
